How to join the Izaak Walton League

 

New applicants and their sponsor, (recommended), must attend a general meeting and fill out an application.

 

All new members are required to serve 20 hours of volunteer time within 90 days.

New members who fail to complete this obligation will not be sent a membership card nor will they be

renewed the following year and their key card will be turned off.

 

As a new applicant you must attend the required new member review.

At this time you will be read the rules of the chapter and be informed about Izaak Walton and the things that we do from the chapter level up to National.

You will be given a temporary membership card and a key card, along with a time card to keep track of your volunteer hours.

You will need to keep these until your regular membership card comes in the mail after you finish your volunteer hours.

All fees are due at this time. As of January 2016 the cost of a single membership is $90.00 a year and $135.00 for family membership

plus the initiation fee of $20.00 and $10.00 per key card.

 

New member review will be on the 4th Wednesday at 7:00 pm and the 4th Saturday at

10:00 am of every month (unless the date is changed by the Membership Director).
